WAYBACKNOW is a passion project conceived, researched, and solely executed by me. It is born out of my dissertation, which investigated whether a print title dedicated exclusively to vintage and secondhand fashion could thrive in contemporary society. WAYBACKNOW is the tangible design built to test the theory.

To purposefully break away from traditional hyper-polished luxury magazines, I developed a postmodern eccentric visual identity. Inspired by independent zines. The design features vivid colours, unconventional photo editing, and quirky yet highly readable layouts. It stands as my personal vision of complete individual expression utilising vintage fashion as the tool.
